Advanced Spa Aesthetician Program the student will learn to define the composition, function, types of skin, the difference between skin disorders and skin disease, and the steps to follow during advanced facial treatment, massage, advanced makeup application and hair removal, including other body areas.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVE
This program is designed in accordance with the regulations and requirements of the State of Florida to obtain the license entitled “Facial Specialist or Esthetician Technician”. The objective of this program is to provide advanced training for individuals interested in employment as a facial specialist, or esthetician in finer salons and medical or resort spas.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
In Advanced Spa Aesthetician program, the student will learn to define the composition, function, types of skin, the difference between skin disorders and skin disease, and the steps to follow during advanced facial treatment, massage, advanced makeup application and hair removal, including other body areas. Upon successful completion of the program hours, and lab hours, the student will receive a Diploma of Completion and will be registered with the State for licensing. Courses are thought in English/Spanish. This program offers all theory/exam hours on-line. Lab hours must be completed on campus.
